What To Do if You Have some spare time

The animation rendering finally finished and packed off, so had a spare couple of days. Well, when I say "spare" I had plenty of dull things to do, but me being me decided to create an "off the shelf" website to help promote my character(The Girl) from my book The Girl And The Moon.
So, googled a couple of free websites and found http://www.weebly.com a great site if you just need to throw stuff together quickly. And so in under 25/26 hours I have now a website http://thegirlspages.weebly.com with its own shop page and a blog.. And all free!
Now I know there are those out there who will tut and frown at using such a site.. The purists of web design, but sometimes its necessary to skip all that build Mahoney and just get something out there!
Anyway, if you have a minute, please take a peek, and let me know what you think!

Halloween and pumpkins

Just pondering the whole concept of pumpkin carving and am wondering whether to go all out for the refined sculpted look or the more chopped random look? In the meantime, here's a BAT free for use in any of your Halloween projects.

Sadly, I didn't manage to get round as many places as I'd wanted. Did manage to catch the film and animation at SHO gallery on Inverness place- quite interesting with some pieces showing thought provoking styles and content. But I have to say the work on show at The Gate arts centre was on the whole quite disappointing. Some nice pieces in the small gallery space, especially the prints and graphite drawings.
